Let’s take a hike Merrell and Carhartt on the trail
Listen, COVID 19 has pretty much ruined summer and my travel plans. Although I love traveling and want to get back on the road, I love being alive and safe more.
Sheltering in Place has proven to be a challenge. I consider myself to be a home body but this, this is another level of seclusion and isolation.
During Phase 1, all I wanted to do was sit outside and get some sun, feel the breeze and enjoy a cold drink. When we entered into Phase 2 and specific businesses opened up, I started checking State Parks availability.

It was finally time to grab my Merrell hiking boots, backpack and some snacks to hit the trail! Talk about social distancing. No greater joy or separator than trekking up a mountain and back down to complete 4 mile hike.
The fresh air. The warm sun peeking through the tallest trees. The views. The sounds. The peace.
The comfort found in wearing the perfect shoes to carry you on the way. Merrell is the comfort zone of hiking boots!
Before I go any further in my Merrell approval I should tell you I am not receiving compensation for this review I’m sharing my review because I have worn other hiking boots and Merrell exceeds the competition in every category.
Let’s get into the details.

Comfort. On a scale of 1-5, with 1 being bad and 5 excellent, Merrell scores 4.5. I would give them a 5 but I want to be wowed even more. With little time to break my shoes in, I was worried about fit and flexibility. I wore these shoes for 2.5 hours and never experienced any discomfort. Normally I would be suffering at the hour mark but that’s not the case with my Merrell’s.
