WELCOME TO THE SHOW

Welcome to our new show mates and hello to those of you returning for another year of fashion and glam! I am so excited to be working with you for the December fundraiser show.

I am taking this time to share some housekeeping items with you to ensure you stay informed and make it to the show finale. Those of you who have worked with me before already know how our shows are run. For everyone else, please note the following:

  • This email blog is our main form of communication. Your show presenter/designer will make sure this information is sent to you when its updated.

  • It is your responsibility to check your email and respond when directed. Emails and updates will have a submission deadline. Failure to confirm by the deadline will remove you from the show.

  • Pack your patience and model bag. Start making sure you have all of your essentials now. If you need help, download my Model Bag Checklist.

  • If you are not going to make all fittings, rehearsals and walkthroughs, cancel now so I do not have to cancel you later. Your designer/presenter will coordinate all fittings. Rehearsals will be scheduled as needed.

  • Mandatory walkthrough is happening the morning of the event. DO NOT BE LATE! You will receive your arrival time for the event in the coming months.

  • Designers/presenters you are responsible for your models. Make sure they are preparing for the show, ready for the walkthrough, and getting their minds right.

  • If you are one of the models being paid, you will receive payment at the end of the event, AFTER we have received all of your clothes and been cleared by our team. Patience will be needed to issue all payments at the END OF THE EVENT.

DO’s and DON’Ts

  • DO have fun but remain professional at all times.

  • DO bring snacks, chargers, and a great attitude.

  • DO enjoy the food and snacks provided when it is time to eat.

  • DO NOT eat or drink anything once you are dressed in your look for the fashion show.

  • DO NOT show up to the event intoxicated, inebriated, or under the influence of any substances. YOU will be removed from the show and asked to leave onsite.
    NO QUESTIONS ASKED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • DO use the restroom BEFORE you get dressed for the fashion show. Once you are in your show look you cannot be seen walking around.

  • DO NOT leave the back of the house once you are dressed. You are not allowed to leave holding. Your looks are a surprise for the fashion show and it’s the professional thing to do.

  • DO NOT share your look on social media until AFTER the event ends. You are free to take pictures and videos but DO NOT post before you walk.

  • DO let us know if you have an EMERGENCY and cannot make a fitting, rehearsal, walkthrough or event. Failure to notify us in a timely manner will result in you being blacklisted for future events.

  • DO listen to and follow the directions from STAFF. We are here to execute an event and your cooperation is necessary. Failure to cooperate will result in your removal from the show.
